Investigation of Marilyn Monroe’s Murder Conspiracy
John W. Miner started this conspiracy because he didn’t believe Marilyn had killed herself. He claims to have seen tapes from her psychiatrist and has released transcripts of his detailed notes of them. The event was Marilyn’s untimely death. Her death is said to be probable suicide because of a “self administered overdose of sedative drugs. The conspiracy is that she was given a barbiturate enema that contained Nembutal. The discrepancies in the investigation have provided fans enough to run with on the fact she could have been murdered. It is said she took Nembutal and chloral hydrate capsules, around 50 pills, yet there was no glass or evidence of there being a glass of water to take them. Also the Nembutal capsules, when digested, leave a yellow discoloration in the lining of the intestines. No such discoloration was noted in the autopsy report. There weren’t even partially digested capsules in her digestive tract. It has been concluded that the enema was the cause and quite a number forensic experts have discarded the suicide conclusion because it is inconsistent with the facts. She would have had to make up a barbiturate enema and administer it to herself. It could have been an accident. It was suggested Dr. Greenson and Dr. Hyman Engelberg had been working together to get Marilyn off Nembutal, substituting it with chloral hydrate. Dr. Engleberg had given Marilyn Nembutal capsules, which she had taken throughout the day, and had not told Dr. Greenson. That evening Dr. Greenson arranged for Marilyn to have a chloral hydrate enema so that she would sleep through the night. He would not have given her a heavy dose of chloral hydrate if he had realized she had been taking Nembutal. Or it could have been murder. Seeing as Marilyn was having an affair with the Kennedy brothers “she was in a position to bring down the presidency.” Robert Kennedy was in LA the night of the murder and there are witnesses, including a cop, who place him near the scene that night. It is said that the CIA, FBI or even the mafia could have killed her. The CIA or FBI in order to protect the president and the top-secret information that had been disclosed with Marilyn. Including things about the mafia, in which they had motive to kill her seeing as she had information that could take them down. The CIA and FBI kept her under surveillance because they considered her a possible threat to national safety, but also a risk for the president’s reputation. A cover up in her death does not seem completely devoid of credibility, with her being JFK’s mistress she knew things that could be turned into a possible threat to national security. I don’t think Marilyn committed suicide; she liked herself too much for that. Yes, she may have attempted to commit suicide before, but if you want to commit suicide, you do, if you want attention, you attempt suicide. I think it’s probable she was murdered, but the conclusion that makes the most sense to me is the accidental death. In that era there were certainly more ways that information could be mixed up or not given. I think it’s very likely that she was given the medicine by Dr. Engleberg and didn’t tell Dr. Greenson who then arranged for the enema. The combination of those drugs was lethal and therefore I believe it was an accidental death.
